Language and Vocabulary

I worked on adding interest in my writing by using sound words, and talking. I told my readers what I
thought and how I felt.

I have been learning to recognise, understand and use words about my family.

I have been learning to ask and answer simple questions about my whanau.

I have been working on communicating about personal information, such as the names of my maunga, awa, iwi, hapu, marae, waka, parents and my name.
